In this special issue, we analyzed the complex interplay between individual and cultural identities in telling problematic actions. In particular, we face the possibility to find through narratives a tool useful to interpret events in a causal way and at the same time as a way to catch multiple meanings. Through six relevant articles in multiple domains of the psychology, we illustrate this complexity.
