Abstract
The interest and attention to the issues of conflict within the theory and practice of urban and regional planning, have emerged at the intersection of some recent research on critical paths and failures of the processes of transformation of the territory, and design opportunities in urban areas of contention space even violent. These two lines of research have suggested the opportunity of reflection proposed here and trying to shed light on issues knots and perhaps useful to reconsider the action of the planner within the spaces of conflict, picking up some theories and some obvious inadequacies of the practices. The idea is that we can reconsider the relationship between conflict and urban practices questioning, is essentially a negative vision of urban conflict and social, is a widespread denial or underestimation. The aim is to try to push as much as possible, theories and practices of planning "beyond consent" and toward a more adequate capacity to act on the structures of power, through a "commitment to a patient and precise minute job»I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
