Disegno, rilievo e restauro dei monumenti: alcuni esempi, Atti del Seminario “Documentazione e conservazione del Patrimonio architettonico e urbano” (Tomar, 25-27 ottobre 2012)

Design and architectural significance constitute a preparatory phase to the study and restoration project of a monument. Disegno e rilievo architettonico costituiscono una fase propedeutica allo studio e al progetto di restauro di un monumento. Il rilievo è infatti il risultato di una precomprensione critica dell’opera oggetto di studio sia nell’attività propriamente mensoria, sia nell’elaborazione grafica dei disegni, riprodotti in scale appropriate in grafici di immediata leggibilità, tali da consentire una visione unitaria dell’opera stessa. L’attività di restauro di un monumento coincide così in parte con i risultati dell’attività di rilievo del monumento stesso. Il contributo presenterà una serie di esempi di ‘buona’ lettura dei monumenti attraverso l’elaborazione e l’interpretazione di rilievi architettonici, in vista degli interventi di restauro.
