The efficiency of dynamical friction as braking mechanism in galaxies of triaxial shape is studied with respect to its influence on the evolution of the IMF of the globular cluster system. In this report we attack this problem and give hints on the possible fate of orbitally decayed massive objects.

Abstract
The efficiency of dynamical friction as braking mechanism in galaxies of triaxial shape is studied with respect to its influence on the evolution of the IMF of the globular cluster system. In this report we attack this problem and give hints on the possible fate of orbitally decayed massive objects.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
