We discuss the problem of obtaining mortality profiles from some animal bones remains found in archaeological sites. The method takes account of different types of bones that can be related to different sets of possible ages of the animals. As a first preliminary step we obtain the likelihood function and derive the equations for the point of maximum likelihood.

Abstract
We discuss the problem of obtaining mortality profiles from some animal bones remains found in archaeological sites. The method takes account of different types of bones that can be related to different sets of possible ages of the animals. As a first preliminary step we obtain the likelihood function and derive the equations for the point of maximum likelihood.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
