Metacognition refers to one’s knowledge concerning one’s own cognitive processes or anything related to them, e.g. the learning-relevant properties of information or data. Some aspects of metacognition are related to anxiety and or depressive disorders. It is well known that migraine could be related to both but very little has been studied on the role that metacognitive aspects play in this. The Metacognitions Questionnaire for Children (MCQ-C) is a questionnaire that analyzes four main components in children and adolescents: positive metaworry, negative meta-worry, superstitious, punishment and responsibility (SPR) beliefs, and cognitive monitoring.

Abstract
Metacognition refers to one’s knowledge concerning one’s own cognitive processes or anything related to them, e.g. the learning-relevant properties of information or data. Some aspects of metacognition are related to anxiety and or depressive disorders. It is well known that migraine could be related to both but very little has been studied on the role that metacognitive aspects play in this. The Metacognitions Questionnaire for Children (MCQ-C) is a questionnaire that analyzes four main components in children and adolescents: positive metaworry, negative meta-worry, superstitious, punishment and responsibility (SPR) beliefs, and cognitive monitoring.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
