Modelli di popolamento durante l’età del Bronzo nella Valle del Biferno

The authors analyse the settlement patterns during the Bronze age in the Biferno Valley (Molise region), starting from the review of the field survey conducted by G. Barker during the Seventies. This paper integrates data coming from Barker’s analysis with the new data coming from excavation at Oratino La Rocca and the new framework of knowledge of Southern Italian Bronze age, as it comes from the most recent research. In a diachronic perspective, this essay also compare data available from Early to Late Bronze Age, in order to understand the development of landscape use in this area.
