The pyrolysis process of Carbon-Carbon is a not well known process. It doesn’t exist an official mathematical model of the process and the major numbers of industries base their production on empirical methods. The aim of this work is to propose a new mathematical model for the process and implement it in a genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm will optimize the mathematical parameters in order to obtain the best process parameters for a Carbon –Carbon composite. A real important and never found result will be discovered with this work: the minimum temperature at which all the material transforms itself in carbon at the first pyrolysis cycle. The influence of temperature, fiber concentration and time on C-C pyrolysis process will be here analyzed.

Abstract
