In this paper I present part of a wider study carried out on children between 6 and 11 years in age in Italy. I refer mostly to the theoretical outlook of A. Giordan and within this framework I describe my research. I explain what I mean, in this context, by Geometry and Astronomy. I give some examples of the processes of teaching and learning.
