The use of Interferon in the prophylaxis of superficial bladder cancer has become a routine. However the results are contrversial and often difficult to interpret. The present study takes into consideration two types of Interferon(natural alpha and recombinant alpha) and compares them to an arm of the study in which no therapy is carried out. The administration of interferon was associated to that of Epirubicin using the endocavitary route, according to two different patterns of administration. Results are interesting expecially in those patients with multiple recurrences.
