We present, herein, a case of a 35 years-old female, who was admitted to thè ER because of a suspected post-partum hemorrhagic complication. She was then submitted to CT scan which revealed a large retroperitoneal hematoma, and thè presence of a left renai well marginated, hypodense lesion. The lesion did not show any signs of inner necrosis or hemorrhage, and neither limphoadenopaties were identified. Subsequently, she was referred to Color-Doppler sonography and MRI examination. At sonography thè lesion appeared well marginated, isoechoic, with a centrai hyperechoic area. Color-Doppler application revealed perypheral with internai vascular distribution, thè so-called "spoke wheel" appearance. At MRI examination thè lesion was hypointense on TI weighted sequences and isointense on T2 ones, with a small pseudocapsule and an hyperintense centrai scar. The lesion showed progressive centripetal enhancement. These findings were suggestive for renai oncocytoma. The patient underwent to renai partial resection. Histopathological examination confirmed our radiological diagnosis.

Abstract
Histopathological examination confirmed our radiological diagnosis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
