Thanks to a detailed palaeographical analysis, MSS Marc. gr. 47 (Origen) and Laur. Plut. 8.7 (John Chrysostom), until now dated to later periods, are assigned to the hand of Michael, a well known scribe who lived and worked in the second quarter of the 10th century in the Stylos lavra on Mount Latros. These manuscripts also share the same codicological features with Michael’s production (so far nine codices, except Marc. gr. 47 and Laur. Plut. 8.7), which can be now divided into two different groups.

Abstract
Thanks to a detailed palaeographical analysis, MSS Marc. gr. 47 (Origen) and Laur. Plut. 8.7 (John Chrysostom), until now dated to later periods, are assigned to the hand of Michael, a well known scribe who lived and worked in the second quarter of the 10th century in the Stylos lavra on Mount Latros. These manuscripts also share the same codicological features with Michael’s production (so far nine codices, except Marc. gr. 47 and Laur. Plut. 8.7), which can be now divided into two different groups.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
