The present audit compares the questionnaires investigating peripartum management of non vigorous neonates with meconium-stained amniotic fluid, adopted by European and American maternity hospitals. The latter have both a higher prevalence of non vigorous neonates with meconium-stained amniotic fluid and a stricter compliance to current recommendations for the prevention of the meconium aspiration syndrome.

Abstract
The present audit compares the questionnaires investigating peripartum management of non vigorous neonates with meconium-stained amniotic fluid, adopted by European and American maternity hospitals. The latter have both a higher prevalence of non vigorous neonates with meconium-stained amniotic fluid and a stricter compliance to current recommendations for the prevention of the meconium aspiration syndrome.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
