Considerazioni sullo stato dell'approvvigionamento idropotabile nel territorio italiano

This paper analyzes the results of the last surveys conducted by the Italian National Institute of Statistics (lstat), and relating to the water supply for the years 1999, 2005 and 2008. These surveys have inspected every branch of the drinking water supply system: water abstraction, drinking water treatment, water distribution and consumption. The variables examined for the whole national territory refer the size of water volumes of every knot of drinking water network. All of the information collected, processed and interpreted, reports on the state of exploitation of drinking water sources, which in terms of management and infrastructure is still very differed despite the gradual implementation of the reform of water services started with the Law 36, 1994
