This volume aims to study Judaism from the point of view of gender difference, by following the philosophical, literary and existential paths of some of the most important Jewish women intellectuals in the 20th century and in particular after the Shoah. This collective research project will examine how the Jewish origins of some female thinkers influenced both their lives and their destinies from multiple perspectives. In this volume we shall comment on the impact that history – emancipation, emigration, exile, persecution, war, Shoah, and their aftermath – had on these women, but we shall also discuss the influence that their Jewish origins had on these women’s intellectual paths as well as on their writing.

Abstract
This volume aims to study Judaism from the point of view of gender difference, by following the philosophical, literary and existential paths of some of the most important Jewish women intellectuals in the 20th century and in particular after the Shoah. This collective research project will examine how the Jewish origins of some female thinkers influenced both their lives and their destinies from multiple perspectives. In this volume we shall comment on the impact that history – emancipation, emigration, exile, persecution, war, Shoah, and their aftermath – had on these women, but we shall also discuss the influence that their Jewish origins had on these women’s intellectual paths as well as on their writing.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
