Four public universities, a lot of private ones and the Pontifical University: Rome has for sure, the highest number of Institutions for higher education of any other Italian cities. The map of the locations of many universities in the city, shows some areas of concentration, but, also, isolated spots as exit of not coordinated actions, frequently of some instruments ratified by belated, very often detached from the indica- tions of local planning and public infrastructure.
