The authors, in this article report an interesting view regarding stress, mourning and the immune system. On top of mentioning important studies which demonstrate of the connection between the three, they also extend their reflection on pioneer fields (hypnosis and cancer- Hamer’s theory) of an certain interest that promise future developments. Besides the study faces indirect biological and psychological damage, refundable in case of death of a kinsman or woman (Corte Costituzionale Sent. 24-27 Ott. 1994 n° 372)
