The Transylvanian Dispute after the First World War

The book uses the documents of the General Staff of the Italian Army to describe the reality of Transylvania at the end of 1918 and in 1919, when the region became part of Romania. Thanks to the documents kept in the archives of the League of Nations, also parses the dispute that pitted Romania and Hungary in the interwar period, fueled by their situation of Transylvania and the treatment of the Hungarian minority in Romania.

Il libro utilizza i documenti dello Stato maggiore dell'esercito italiano per descrivere la realtà della transilvania alla fine del 1918 e nel 1919, quando la regione entra a far parte della Romania. Grazie ai documenti conservati negli archivi storici della Società delle Nazioni, inoltre, viene analizzata la disputa che ha opposto Romania e Ungheria nel periodo interbellico, alimentata proprio dalla situazione della Transilvania e dal trattamento delle minoranze magiare in Romania.
