The paper collects and studies the (mainly epigraphical, but also literary and archaeological) evidence concerning Greek agonistic festivals celebrated in three cities of Gallia Narbonensis: Massalia, Nemausus and Vienne. The latter two were not Greek foundations, but they were throughly hellenized under the influence of Massalia. In three catalogues, the author presents texts, with bibliography and commentary of 28 inscriptions (the inscriptions still extant have been seen and photographed). Most of them date to the end of the 2nd century A.D., which leads to the hypothesis that the Capitolia, instituted by Domitian in 86 A.D., were a major stimulus to the diffusion of Greek contests in Gaul. The author points to the relations between these festivals and the imperial cult and to the important role of local élites in the organisation of both.
