The dimensional analysis technique is applied to specific aspects of pyroclastic flow transport and deposition, and particularly to the grading processes of lithic and pumice clasts in moving pyroclastic flows. Starting from the relevant dimensioned parameters governing grading processes by applying the Buckingham Pi theorem, dimensionless parameters have been found, in which the dimensioned parameters are related each other.
