La commedia greca antica a Roma

Is traced the history of the reception of Rome in ancient Greek comedy, from the second century. BC to the second century. AD, in his most significant moments (and sometimes problematic) is discussed the possibility that the ancient Greek comedy was actually staged in Rome, as they might lead one to believe some witnesses. The article takes up and develops, taking into account some recent publications, a topic already discussed in the book The satire and the poet.

Viene tracciata la storia della ricezione a Roma della commedia greca antica, dal II sec. a.C. al II sec. d.C., nei suoi momenti più significativi (e, talvolta, problematici): viene discussa la possibilità che la commedia antica greca fosse effettivamente messa in scena a Roma, come potrebbero indurre a credere alcune testimonianze. L’articolo riprende e sviluppa, tenendo conto di alcune recenti pubblicazioni, un argomento già trattato nel volume La satira e il poeta.
