Abstract
The contribution aims to identify some recurring forms because of which Horace has ordered the ordering of Carmina. Particular importance has ten: Horace's poetry collection is observed in the real 'boundaries decimal', made recognizable by the recurrence of specific metric and thematic links. The layout of the book, that Horace had to learn also from the Alexandrian editions of the archaic and classical Greek lyric takes on an expressive function, stimulating the reader to recognize references between individual compositions. The theme of the deity as the ordering force, as opposed to irrational violence of the storm, it reveals also particularly important from the point of view of their structural and editorial.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
