The decompression of the pancreatic duct with the extraction of stones by endoscopy is now recognized as an effective method jòr the treatment ofsome flrms of Chronic Pancreatitis. The limits of this methodology are strictly linked to the morpho- Log;yoftbe pancreatic duct and/or to the size, morphoLogy and number ofstones. The association of endoscopy with the ESWL ofien allows to auercome tbese limits. A case ofLithiasis oftbe Wirsung in a patient affected by CP. suecessfol! y treated associating endoscopy to ESWL is reported.
