In his book "Elements of Geometry", Euclid proved the theorem (hereafter called "the pentagon and decagon"), whereby data of a pentagon and a regular decagon inscribed in the same circle, the side of the decagon, the side of the pentagon and the radius of the circumference form a triangle. This paper gives a new proof of this theorem using methods more "synthetic" of Greek geometry.

Abstract
In his book "Elements of Geometry", Euclid proved the theorem (hereafter called "the pentagon and decagon"), whereby data of a pentagon and a regular decagon inscribed in the same circle, the side of the decagon, the side of the pentagon and the radius of the circumference form a triangle. This paper gives a new proof of this theorem using methods more "synthetic" of Greek geometry.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
