Rechargeable solid-state lithium cells using a polymer electrolyte and a polymer positive electrode, have been realized. In paticular, poly (ethylene oxide), PEO, complexes with various lithium salts (e.g. LiBF4, LiClO4 and LiCF3SO3) have been used as the polymer electrolytes and electrochemically synthesized polypyrrole has been used as the positive polymer electrode. The characteristics of the cell have been investigated by ac impedance analysis and by cyclic voltammetry. The results indicate that the kinetics of the electrochemical charge-discharge process depend upon the specific PEO complex used, the best behaviour being obtained with the (PEO)9LiCF3SO3 complex. Abstract
The cycling performance of a solid-state lithium polymer battery using this complex is illustrated and discussedI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
