Spettri sovietici. Costruzione e dissoluzione del socialismo nella letteratura russa dopo il "crollo"

The dissolution of the USSR and the transition from real socialism to market Bolshevism were characterized by a twenty-year metamorphosis that, through that peculiar gothic expressionism of the post-Soviet literature, reveals the unexpected past of the Russia. The gothic expressionism makes reappear the ghosts of USSR and landed to «magical historicism» characterized by an absurdist and uchronic interpretation of the history of Soviet Russia. The alarming historical background represented by the magical historicism is the most obvious symptom of the failure of other, more conventional ways of understanding both the past and the current russian reality. The galaxy Gothic-absurdist, composed by Pelevin, Sorokin and Erofeev, resurrects the ghosts of the USSR: reconstructing in a satirical grotesque key the historical legacy of the USSR, the magical historicism is also an implicit critique of post-Soviet era.

La dissoluzione dell’Urss e la transizione dal socialismo reale al bolscevismo di mercato sono state caratterizzate da una ventennale metamorfosi che, attraverso quell’espressionismo gotico peculiare della letteratura post-sovietica, rivela l’imprevedibile passato della Russia. L’espressionismo gotico fa riapparire gli spettri dell’Urss ed è approdato allo «storicismo magico» connotato da una interpretazione assurdista e ucronica della storia della Russia sovietica. L’inquietante scenario storico rappresentato dallo storicismo magico è il sintomo più evidente del fallimento di altri e più convenzionali modi di comprendere sia il passato, sia l’attuale realtà russa. La pleiade gotico-assurdista, composta da Pelevin, Sorokin e Erofeev, resuscita gli spettri dell’Urss: ricostruendo in chiave satirico-grottesca il retaggio storico dell’Urss, lo storicismo magico è anche una critica implicita della società post-sovietica.
