Minisimposio articolato in 14 conferenze. The proposed Minisymposium is devoted to most recent results concerning mathematical models to study smart material and materials with memory as well as connected analytical problems. The aim is to join together researchers who are engaged in investigating mathematical problems arising in modeling such materials. Challenging analytical problems, indeed, originate from applications. Specifically, materials with memory, and smart material in general, are more and more widely used in a variety of different technological environments. These materials exhibit a physical behaviour which depends on time not only through the present time but also through its whole past history.

Abstract
Minisimposio articolato in 14 conferenze. The proposed Minisymposium is devoted to most recent results concerning mathematical models to study smart material and materials with memory as well as connected analytical problems. The aim is to join together researchers who are engaged in investigating mathematical problems arising in modeling such materials. Challenging analytical problems, indeed, originate from applications. Specifically, materials with memory, and smart material in general, are more and more widely used in a variety of different technological environments. These materials exhibit a physical behaviour which depends on time not only through the present time but also through its whole past history.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
