The model of a magneto-elastic body, studied by Chipot, Shafrir, Valente and Vergara Caarelli [3], is concerned about the interaction between elastic and magnetic eects. When the deformation behaviour is viscoelastic instead than elastic, the evolution problem is modeled by an integro-dierential systems since a term, nonlocal in time, needs to be introduced. Specically, here, on the basis of results recently obtained [1] and [2], the attention is focussed on a 1-dimensional problem, studied in [1], as well as on 3-dimensional one [3].
