An X-band EPR study of divalent paramagnetic metal ions Cu2+, VO2+ and Mn2+ interacting with the tetrapeptide H-(L-His-Gly)2-OMe in aqueous solution is reported; the different affinities of the metal ions towards the L-tetrapeptide ligand are tested in order to clarify the specificity of the metal-ligand interaction under various experimental conditions.

Abstract
An X-band EPR study of divalent paramagnetic metal ions Cu2+, VO2+ and Mn2+ interacting with the tetrapeptide H-(L-His-Gly)2-OMe in aqueous solution is reported; the different affinities of the metal ions towards the L-tetrapeptide ligand are tested in order to clarify the specificity of the metal-ligand interaction under various experimental conditions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
