Three spectrophotometric methods were studied for their applicability to NO2- detn. in water. Method A is based on the reaction in acid medium (pH 1.5-2) of HNO2 and sulfanilamide and the successive reactions of N-compd. formation with N-(1-naphthyl)ethylenediamine. Method B is based on the reaction in acid medium (pH 1.5-3) of HNO2 and antipyrine. Method C is based on the reaction in acid medium (pH 1.3-2.4) of HNO2 and 1,3-dihydroxybenzene to form a complex chelate with zirconyl ion. Cr(VI) and Fe(III) interfere with all 3 methods, PO43- interferes neg. with method A and pos. with method C, and I- interferes with method A.

Abstract
Cr(VI) and Fe(III) interfere with all 3 methods, PO43- interferes neg. with method A and pos. with method C, and I- interferes with method A.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
