Headache and Migraine in Children and Adolescents are commonly associated with other several comorbidities which contribute to the disability and make life-quality of the affected children worse. Migraine is frequently associated with psychiatric (mood and anxiety) disorders, atopic disease, ADHD and epilepsy. However, precise figures and the impact of comorbidities on the patients have not been evaluated in detail. The aim of this study is to analyze the prevalence, type and impact of comorbidities on children and adolescents affected by migraine. The influence of genetic and epigenetic aspects on headache and comorbidities will be evaluated too.
