Abstract Diffuse skeletal angiomatosis is a very rare syndrome. Since it was first observed by Shennan in 1915 only fifty-five cases have been reported in the literature (Rondier et al., 1977). It therefore seems that the description of a new case, accompanied for the first time by ultrastructural findings, may offer a new insight into the pathology of this disease.
