Abstract
A new numerical method is proposed to analyze transient induced effects in thin wires excited by external fields. Maxwell's curl equations and transmission line equations are solved by the point-matching finite element-time domain (FE-TD) method. The method is based on a finite element discretization of space and a finite difference discretization of time. The leap-frog scheme is adopted and an explicit solution scheme is obtainedI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
