US Supreme Court and Affirmative Action Policy: An Unexpected, but Ambiguous Support. The article analyzes two decisions, Gratz v. Bollinger and Grutter v. Bollinger, in which the U.S. Supreme Court tries to specify in which cases state universities admission programs considering ethnic and racial membership pass the test of the Court. Some uncertainties in the two judgments are underlined, so that the debate on affirmative action policy certainly will continue.
