The Bush Administration Argued Against University’s Affirmative Action Policy: The Last Word to the Supreme Court. The article examines two briefs filed, as amicus curiae, by the Bush Administration in the cases Gratz v. Bollinger and Grutter v. Bollinger, both concerning the University of Michigan admissions programs for minority students. Both cases reopened the discussion of the scholarship and of the public as well on certain types of preferential treatments based on racial membership.
