A sensitive, simple, rapid and precise method for the simultaneous detn. of fosinopril (FOS) and hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) in pharmaceutical formulations was presented. These active ingredients were extd. in aq. soln. and measured by multiwavelength UV spectrophotometry using the program QUEST. HCT acts as an internal std. to verify the accuracy of the anal. Some aspects of the chem., spectroscopic and thermoanal. behavior of FOS are also reported.
