Non-linear thermo-optical properties of doped glasses can be studied with the help of the photodeflectionmethod. We report thermal diffusivity measurements obtained through the photodeflectionmethod in its transverse configuration in both quasi-continuous and pulsed irradiation. The photodeflectionmethod was suitably optimized for the case of glasses with very low thermal diffusivity.

Abstract
Non-linear thermo-optical properties of doped glasses can be studied with the help of the photodeflectionmethod. We report thermal diffusivity measurements obtained through the photodeflectionmethod in its transverse configuration in both quasi-continuous and pulsed irradiation. The photodeflectionmethod was suitably optimized for the case of glasses with very low thermal diffusivity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
