Abstract
For the maintenance of electric power systems a fundamental focus is to monitor the efficiency of components of a distribution system. For the electrical distribution circuits the paper suggests a Maintenance Tool based on the evaluation of the insulated cables deterioration. To do it off line, the author deals a practical and useful Cable Maintenance Tool MCT, evaluating a check up of the cable. When a supervisory control system is available, the MCT could be organized automatically like a device on line Synthetically, the device suggested will count the losses of the life due to all the events of over and under temperatures both causing the protective device and doing not. Knowing the checkup of the power cables the system operators will can: - monitor the cables life loss; -optimize the cables efficiency; - upgrade the distribution system. © 2012 IEEE.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
