A math. model is given to calc. the n,p-cond. surfaces of solid oxide electrolytes based on a limited no. of exptl. data.  The model correctly describes the exptl. results on CSZ using, as input data, a well-established set of cond. vs. temp. equations reported in the literature.  The PO2 dependence of activation energies Q- and Q+ is a math. consequence.
