Edifici storici, stratificazioni e danni nell'aquilano, una panoramica

First overview of the disruptions caused by the earthquake of 6 April 2009 with a series of examples and critical considerations relating to the links between layers of history and vulnerability of historic buildings. An extraordinary historical coherence and constructive ties the picture and the story of L'Aquila and the surrounding area debated since its foundation thirteenth century: the economy, social structure, political and religious organization have intertwined over time the fate of the city to those of its territory , affecting its topography, the road layout, architectures. With similar consistency, the earthquake hit the town and the villages minors, significantly damaging almost all the factories and historical uninhabitable making the most ancient centers of the area. Among the various monuments and urban sites considered are mentioned in the article, L'Aquila, the churches of St. Domenico, S. Marciano, S. Forward, S. Maria Paganica, S. Peter of torque and some factories civilians, such as the Palace of the Nobles, in smaller towns, the churches of St. Stephen S. Pio delle Camere, S. Paul in Peltuinum Prata d'Ansidonia, S. To St. Mary of the Recommended Panfilo d'Ocre. Emerge clearly from the research responsibility for the restoration work carried out on the buildings in the second half of the twentieth century and the need to provedere with alternative and more conscious knowledge of historical material.

Prima panoramica dei dissesti provocati dal terremoto del 6 aprile 2009 con una casistica di esempi e considerazioni critiche relative ai nessi fra stratificazione storica e vulnerabilità dell'edilizia storica. Una straordinaria coerenza storica e costruttiva lega l’immagine e le vicende dell’Aquila e del suo territorio a partire dalla sua dibattuta fondazione duecentesca: economia, struttura sociale, organizzazione politica e religiosa hanno nel tempo intrecciato le sorti della città a quelle del suo territorio, condizionando la sua topografia, i tracciati viari, le architetture. Con analoga coerenza, il terremoto ha colpito il capoluogo e gli abitati minori, danneggiando significativamente quasi tutte le fabbriche storiche e rendendo inabitabile la maggior parte dei centri antichi del territorio. Fra i diversi monumenti e siti urbani considerati nell'articolo si ricordano, all'Aquila, le chiese di S. Domenico, S. Marciano, S. Giusta, S. Maria di Paganica, S. Pietro di Coppito e alcune fabbriche civili, come il Palazzetto dei Nobili; negli abitati minori, le chiese di S. Stefano a S. Pio delle Camere, S. Paolo ad Peltuinum a Prata d'Ansidonia, S. Maria dei Raccomandati a S. Panfilo d'Ocre. Emergono chiaramente dalla ricerca la responsabilità dei restauri condotti sugli edifici nella seconda metà del Novecento e la necessità di provedere con modalità alternative e più attente alla conoscenza materiale dell'architettura storica.
