The purpose of this letter is to describe the stability properties of the inverse problem of determining a straight-line crack in a specimen, from measurements of voltages and currents on its boundary. We discuss a stability theorem and its implications for practical applications. The stability behaviour is further studied in several numerical calculations.

Abstract
The purpose of this letter is to describe the stability properties of the inverse problem of determining a straight-line crack in a specimen, from measurements of voltages and currents on its boundary. We discuss a stability theorem and its implications for practical applications. The stability behaviour is further studied in several numerical calculations.File allegati a questo prodotto
