High brightness beam are needed in novel applications of modern particle accelerators such as free electron laser, Thomson sources or plasma wake field multi-TeV accelerators. Electron accelerators providing such beams use a variety of RF devices not only to accelerate the beam, but also to manipulate it or to diagnose its properties. We discuss some devices such as harmonic cavities and RF deflectors realized in the framework of the SPARC photo-injector project. We focus our inter- est in the design, the construction and the testing of those devices working in the S-band, C-band and X-band.
