In postnatal muscle, myogenin plays a key role in regulaSng pathways involved in muscle maturaSon, degeneraSon and eventually cachexia. MSY‐3 binds a highly conserved DNA cisac Sng element located upstream of the myogenin promoter. We wanted to find other possible targets of MSY‐3 regulated in concert during muscle maturaSon and atrophy.
