One case of an’86-year-old woman affected by Blastocystis Hominis and recurrent Megacolon is reported. Sigmoidoscopy was performed to decompress colon but after the unsuccessful conservative management the patient was submitted to a surgical cecostomy. In this work Authors discuss about association between B. Hominis and Megacolon.
