This article deals with a famous group of roman Jewish notarial acts in Archivio Capitolino in Rome, better known as Notai Ebrei. The publica fides question is analysed in a diplomatica view, with particular regarding to sentences used as typical formula, their juridical meanings and their linguistic features. On the basis of these registers is also proposed a social analysis concerning the bankers, now specially focused as the most important, rich and educated group, on the bases of different consideration (marriage strategy, particular history of some Scole and, at least, palaeographical analysis)

Abstract
This article deals with a famous group of roman Jewish notarial acts in Archivio Capitolino in Rome, better known as Notai Ebrei. The publica fides question is analysed in a diplomatica view, with particular regarding to sentences used as typical formula, their juridical meanings and their linguistic features. On the basis of these registers is also proposed a social analysis concerning the bankers, now specially focused as the most important, rich and educated group, on the bases of different consideration (marriage strategy, particular history of some Scole and, at least, palaeographical analysis)I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
