Through the comparison between a relationship councilor Guglielmi (published in full in the appendix to the essay), the doubts and complaints submitted to the Central Congregation of the Sacred Inquisition by bishops and inquisitors of the territory of the Papal States, the list of safe-conduct granted to Jews (Romans) to travel, The paper stresses the topic of mobility of the Jews out of the ghetto in the Church State. As it is clearly showed by the comparison between the "salvacondotti" granted to Roman Jews to travel and complaints submitted by local authority to the Inquisition, this essay investigates the possibilities opened to the Jews in the ghetto time. The relationship of the consultant PierGirolamo Guglielmi (published in appendix to the essay) underlines the relevance of the question within the frame of the story of Roman Inquisition.

Attraverso il confronto tra una relazione dell'assessore Guglielmi (pubblicata integralmente in appendice al saggio), i dubbi e le denunce presentate al Congregazione centrale del S. Uffizio da vescovi e inquisitori del territorio dello Stato della Chiesa, l'elenco dei salvacondotto concessi ad ebrei (anche romani) per viaggiare, il saggio ricostruisce le forme della mobilità ebraica fuori dai ghetti in età moderna, resa possibile dallo scontro interno alle diverse autorità ecclesiastiche che, per ragioni diverse, si contendevano la giurisdizione sulla materia
