Opinions are a different matter: Students in Computer Engineering are the most critical; Law Students are more conservative and those studying Literature and Communication are in an intermediate position. However, the whole specimen believes that copyright laws protect the producers, the publishers or the distributors more than the authors. A strong majority of respondents indicates that the solution to piracy is the reduction of cultural products costs. Over three-quarters of those interviewed download protected products for saving money. The online films are preferred because they are free; the books are chosen when it’s hard to find them in libraries and in bookshops, and music is downloaded to evaluate the opportunity of purchasing an entire CD. Finally, the possession of non-original copies cuts across different categories. Friends or relatives seem to be the first distributors of protected content (before online piracy or illegal sale), suggesting that the new media has brought forth new and advanced means of violation.

Abstract
Zoom on knowledge, perceptions and practices relating to copyright. The analysis multivariata.Per deepen the first results of the quantitative analysis, bivariate analysis was carried out, aimed at seizing any points of convergence or divergence between different subgroups in the knowledge of the laws on copyright, in the perception of the rules regulate and behaviors of use or exchange of cultural products protected. About knowledge, there are no great distances in the subgroups of the sample, reflecting the fact that the issue is known more or less transversely, probably by virtue of direct experience that is not for the acquisition of academic knowledge. Students of communication and letters are placed in an intermediate position, while those of jurisprudence are, predictably, more conservative.
