The impedance of the Li electrode in Li/LixMnO2 accumulators is studied at open-circuit voltage. An unexpected low-frequency inductive behavior was observed in the impedance spectra. The influence of the state-of-charge, storage time, and cycling conditions of Li/LixMnO2 accumulators on this inductive behavior is characterized. A simplified model of a corrosion process at the Li/electrolyte interface including multistep cathodic coupled reactions is presented which accounts qualitatively for the inductive behavior observed.

Abstract
The impedance of the Li electrode in Li/LixMnO2 accumulators is studied at open-circuit voltage. An unexpected low-frequency inductive behavior was observed in the impedance spectra. The influence of the state-of-charge, storage time, and cycling conditions of Li/LixMnO2 accumulators on this inductive behavior is characterized. A simplified model of a corrosion process at the Li/electrolyte interface including multistep cathodic coupled reactions is presented which accounts qualitatively for the inductive behavior observed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
