One of the most important gnomonic projects of the period must be the adoption of the Clementine meridian line, constructed by Bianchini in the 18th century at St.Mary of Angels church in Rome. A school in Rome was able to obtain the monument with the proposal to undertake the restoration and conservation of Clementine's sundial which is falling into decay.
