Eco-Media City is a new type of experimental city for the twenty-first century. Based on the concept of symbiosis, belongs to the Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa, it seeks to integrate the following aspects into a new urban paradigm: nature preservation, environmental issues, bio-technologies, genetic engineering, action plans of the information industry and the multimedia. In order to create a symbiosis between conservation and development of the natural environment and between ecological and multimedia technology, a city crossed by forests takes shape. An essential element for the encounter between man and nature, forests are also a way to protect the city's resources.
L’Eco-Media City è un nuovo tipo di città sperimentale per il ventunesimo secolo. Basata sulla filosofia della simbiosi dell’architetto giapponese Kisho Kurokawa, essa cerca di integrare i seguenti aspetti in un nuovo paradigma urbano: preservazione della natura, temi ambientali, bio-tecnologie, ingegneria genetica, piani di azione dell’industria dell’informazione e del multimedia. Per realizzare una simbiosi tra la conservazione e lo sviluppo dell’ambiente naturale e tra la tecnologia ecologica e quella multimediale, prende forma una città attraversata da foreste. Elemento essenziale per l’incontro tra l’uomo e la natura, le foreste sono anche un modo per proteggere le risorse della città.
